The Rhine House is a 2 story wooden home seathed in white panted weather boarding. The veranda, day window, etc have been opended to the public in their original 'ijinkan' style from the Meiji era, and handed down from generation to generation.
As its opening to public in 1976, the house was given name 'Rhine House'.When Kobe was devastated by Great Hanshin Awaji earthquake in 1995, the site suffered extensive damage, with its chimney collapsing, and the inside walls cracking. The site was then restored to its former image.
At present, a lounge, exhibition room and souvenir corner have been set up on the first floor, as well as an exhibition on the second floor, explaining the history of Kitano's ''ijinkan'' and the earthquake that rocked Kobe in 1995.
Rhine House has created a relaxed atmosphere for public of all ages to visit...

Well... this lady who smile -is my sensei, 22 years. We have been to Osaka -Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park. This park was built for Expo' 1972.( 40 years ago .. )
